Homecoming by Alien Mag | Van Abbemuseum

From 28 June 2025 to 7 December 2025, Homecoming will be on view at the Van Abbemuseum, a exhibition curated by Alien Mag. In this exhibition, artists Hemaseh Manawi Rad, Rita Pieternella, Larissa Schepers, Miranda Gashi and Irem Pınarbaşı express their sense of home through a variety of disciplines. The result is a collection of stories about family ties, uprooting, and self-acceptance.

Visitors to the exhibition will receive a magazine specially designed for Homecoming. The magazine features interviews with the artists, reflection exercises that actively engage visitors with the exhibition, and a behind-the-scenes look at how the exhibition came together.
