Alien Mag x Stichting De Vrolijkheid

Over the past few weeks, we moved our editorial office to Gilze to work with young people from the asylum seekers’ center (azc) on a magazine about boundless dreaming.

In collaboration with De Vrolijkheid, an organization that offers children and young people in azc’s a creative outlet, we created stories that broaden perspectives.

Editors Narwan, Masiha, Narin, Berat, Sevil, Bengu, Malaika, Seher, Elif, and Mahmut created a world full of possibilities through their self-written stories of hope, with paintings reflecting their deepest desires, and photographs capturing their everyday lives.

We thank them, our workshop hosts, and the volunteers of Stichting De Vrolijkheid, for their invaluable contribution to this special edition.
